The instructions to formally apply for final examination are on the official website of the UniTN PhD office: section Degree and final examination
Thesis Submission and Defence
The activity ends with the submission of a doctoral thesis that must be delivered within a deadline set by the Doctoral Program Administrative Manager. The thesis must be written in English, have original content and demonstrate the student’s ability to carry out research and/or innovation activities at international level.
The final examination consists in a public presentation of the thesis and its defence in front of an Examination Committee composed of three members chosen among university tenured professors and researchers. At least two members must belong to Italian or foreign universities not participating in the Doctoral Program and cannot be members of the Doctoral Program Committee. The Committee can be enlarged by a maximum of two foreign or Italian experts selected from the universities and the public and private research centres. Both presentation and discussion will be in English.
