TRuStEE will train a new generation of scientists with complementary and interdisciplinary skills in ecosystem modelling, plant physiology, remote sensing technologies and big data analysis, addressing different specific objectives:

• the identification of essential biodiversity variables (EBVs);
• the assessment of vegetation photosynthetic efficiency;
• the implementation of algorithms for RS data analysis with variable spatial and temporal resolution;
• the upscaling of ecological models based on last generation satellite products at global scale.
