In compliance with Erasmus+ regulations and based on the chosen destination and on the agreement in place with their home university, students can participate in the student mobility programme to:

  • study (attend classes and pass examinations)
  • perform research work for their dissertation or doctoral thesis
  • participate in an internship programme (in the framework of their studies)

Information on student mobility:

  • students can benefit from one mobility scholarship for every cycle of study (while pursuing an undergraduate degree, a five-year master’s degree, a master’s degree or a doctoral degree)
  • students can benefit from an Erasmus+ scholarship multiple times, but the total time abroad must not exceed 12 months of mobility within one cycle of study
  • students participating in the Erasmus+ programme cannot choose their country of residence as their destination
  • as suggested by the European Commission, the University of Trento will award scholarships of different amounts based on the country of destination:
    • 400,00 €/month for mobility to Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Liechtenstein, Norway, United Kingdom, Sweden
    • 350,00 €/month for mobility to Belgium, Cyprus, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovak Republic, Hungary, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia
    • Switzerland offers student mobility scholarships for study purposes amounting to 360 CHF/month, integrated by a University scholarship of € 120 per month.
